Many important things in life are discussed over a cup of tea. “Teapot and sliced avocado” is inspired by my day to day experiences as an artist. Maintaining the simplicity and positivity are the main objectives of all who enter to share in the creativity in my studios. Good food and pleasant conversations are the mainstays in my creative spaces. The same can be said of my desire to keep things simple in these oil paintings. Fascinated by the interactions of pure pigments on grounds of varying colours and shades I strive to bring to life the feelings one has upon entering my studio spaces. This painting is done on mounted Masonite and the edges have been painted black.
